National Eye Health Week

Wiltshire Sight is delighted to be supporting National Eye Health Week with events starting from 11th till 21st September. Events will include information advice and support about eye health or concerns relating to sight.


Wiltshire Sight and Specsavers will be at Chippenham Lackham and Trowbridge College as part of National Eye Health week to promote eye heath as part of their fresher’s week.

Wiltshire Sight is supporting National Eye Health week with the following events:
Training – Health visiting school nursing team. Looking Out for sight loss awareness training in care and nursing homes
Free Drop in at Trowbridge Library for anyone wanting information, advice and support about eye health or concerns relating to sight loss
A Free Open Day at our Devizes Resource Centre for individuals with Sight loss, professionals, carers and anyone interested in finding out more about the resources and equipment available for people with sight loss. Plus information about how to look after your sight and make the best use of the sight that you have.

We also have the following free drop-ins:
Free Drop In at Salisbury
Free Drop In at Fisherton Library
Free Drop in Warminster Fire Station

Open Day

Wiltshire Sight are hosting an open day to support National Eye Health Week. Optima Low Vision and Sight and Sound will be demonstrating magnification and assistive technology products respectively. There will also be Sight Advisors available, ex-demonstration products for sale at reduced price and refreshments. Everyone is invited to learn the importance of good eye health.
