Skills For Parents

We are holding our first Skills for parents of visually impaired children course in 2016. The course consists of three sessions lasting two hours each to provide parents with the knowledge and support they may need after a child has been diagnosed. Subjects we will cover range from:

*Diagnosis
*Emotional impact
*Lifelong learning skills
*Early intervention
*Transition into schools
*Colour contrast and lighting
*Audio books
*Adaptions at home
