Covid-19 Update: Unfortunately we have had to suspend all face-to-face social groups technology until further notice. However, you can find more information about online and phone social groups which we are setting up by clicking on the link below.
Living with sight loss can be an isolating experience. We provide opportunities for Blind and Partially-Sighted people to meet up, whether it is to share their experiences and hints and tips on living with sight loss, or just a good opportunity to get out and socialise.
There are many social groups for people living with sight loss across the West of England, some run by our own team in Wiltshire and Swindon and our volunteers, and by others such as the Macular Society. Our partner charity Vision West of England run several groups across Bristol, Bath and South Gloucestershire.
Talk to us about regular groups taking place near you, we can provide you with information about a variety of opportunities from informal meet ups for coffee and conversation, pub socials, sporting events and family activities. Alternately visit the Vision West of England website for a full list of social events;
