Due to current circumstances, all sporting activities are currently suspended until further notice.
However, if you would like to find out more about accessible activities you can access during this period, British Blind Sports have created a library of resources for a wide range of activities at home such as Yoga, Pilates, Cardio, Bootcamp and Strength among many others. Click on the link below.
Stay In Work Out
Never too late to try
A severe visual impairment should not be a barrier to taking part or enjoying many sports. Whether it is just to keep fit and healthy, or if you want to compete, there are so many new things to try.
Taking part in sporting activities is not just good for getting active and keeping fit, sport is also a great way to socialise, make friends, build confidence and independence too.
There are many sports that are open to blind and partially sighted people from archery, cricket, running, sailing, tandem cycling, tennis, football…. the list could go on and on!
Through our partnership with Vision West of England we host regular introductory taster sporting events where you can have a go at different sports. We can also put you in touch with a range of visually impaired friendly sporting clubs. For more details please call Marc Gulwell on 0117 322 4885.
