Retail Development Manager – 6 month post, full or part-time, £28,000 pro rata
We are seeking a dynamic project manager with retail experience who can help Wiltshire Sight, develop a retail arm and open its first charity shop.
Wiltshire Sight exists to reduce the impact of sight loss, supporting blind and partially sighted people to lead independent lives and to secure equal access to services. Our aim in opening shops is to increase our brand recognition, increase our presence in the community, and to increase charity income.
This role will project manage all aspects of opening our first charity shop, from finding a suitable location/premises, to shopfitting, stock generation and volunteer/staff recruitment. This is a real opportunity for an organized and driven individual to develop something exciting and new, which will add real value to the provision of sight loss support services in Wiltshire.
Although initially advertised for 6 months, there is the potential for this role to develop into a longer-term management position depending on level of progress and success.
